The people at the University of Texas are doing some interesting thinking about the business they’re in. On Wednesday, February 17th, I’ll be visiting a very cool class on the history and future of higher ed that’s being co-taught by three (!) professors: Julia Mickenberg (American Studies), Rich Reddick (Education), and Kate Catterall (Design).

On Thursday, I’ll be giving a public lecture sponsored by the English department, which is reviewing its grad program to try to make it more responsive to the conditions we’re living in.
