Who doesn’t love an organization named WAGS? It stands for the Western Association of Graduate Schools, and its acronym is much happier than that of my local outfit (Northeast Association of Graduate Schools = NAGS).

WAGS is having its 60th anniversary conference this spring, and I’ll be giving a joint plenary with my friend Julie Posselt, who has written a superb book on graduate admissions. The event will take place on March 19th at 3:30. I’ll post further details here once I know them. I recommend checking every hour.
